Project 1_ Isabelle Grund

For my first filming project, I decided that I wanted to film a little dollhouse cottage that I had at home. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do with it yet, but I knew I could do some fun shots of the house and some of the miniature objects in it.

For the planning and storyboard stage of my project, I chose to draw out different camera angles and scenes I would want to add. Under each thumbnail sketch I put little notes for how I wanted to shoot the scene or important details I wanted to remember to add. I decided to depict a cute little bunny living in the cottage when it gets destroyed. I thought it might be funny and kind of cute if she ended up making s'mores over her burning house. When coming up with this story it reminded me of playing as a child.

This is a screenshot of what the video looked like while I was editing. When editing the video I put together the best clips of each scene that I shot. I followed my story board as a guide when both shooting the film and editing. I added transitions when I felt they were necessary and added fade in's and out's at the beginning and end. I added background music and a few sound effects to really bring the story to life.

This is the final result of my hard work:
