For my sound project I decided that I wanted to recreate my own interpretation of death and rebirth. I wanted to keep it open to other people's interpretations and could apply this to their own beliefs. I went for a 3 act structure in the progression; starting at the beginning is the limited earthly existence and the sudden stop being death, then the middle part is the transition phase or limbo, before the final phase being the rebirth, or enlightenment, that comes afterward. I gathered my own noises that are used in the first and second acts from running my car keys along corners of metal or wooden objects and adjusted them in audacity. The background noises and the ringing noises I made in by generating and editing noises in Audacity. And the final sounds in the 3rd act I got from video of chimes on Youtube, and did slight editing to.
