Project 2_Latrice

 

    For as long as I could remember, I’ve been a passionate WWE enthusiast. My entire household and other relatives are fond of this sport as well, and the entertainment that it brings is surreal. Since this project is focusing on sound art, I immediately had the concept of utilizing the audio from the videos that I recorded when I attended two separate WWE pay-per-views this past summer. To go along with the numerous audio clips that were inserted, there are photos and gifs that match the exact moment of the event.

    At the start of the video, it’s an intro with the WWE logo placed inside of a wrestling ring to give the viewers a feel of what certain emotions WWE Superstars (wrestlers) give the WWE Universe (fans). Following that, the next clip is of my absolute favorite WWE Superstar, John Cena. Although that’s the only audio that wasn’t recorded by me, it’s one of my most fondest memories that I had to include in the video, because he had unexpectedly returned to back in-ring action in 2021. Overall, the video shows 7 individual Superstars that made an impact in the WWE, making an entrance to their respective theme songs with the WWE Universe rooting them on.
